Crazy Weekend!

So I have to update you about this weekend. We went to Manti to go to the temple with Tyler. We couldn't go with him yet but in the near future we will able to. Anyways, it was a pretty crappy day. We were late leaving because we had a pretty bad night (Dawson is still not sleeping at night) Taren also had her fake baby from school (super annoying if you ask me). Anyways we decided to go over Huntington Canyon and it was snowing so bad we could barely see the road. Jared was driving my mom's van and we had Taren, Blake, Jaxon, And Dawson with us. We were going down the other side of the mountain and Jared hit some black ice, sending us sliding towards the cliff. He some how got the van to stay on the road but still couldn't stop and we were gathering speed. He had to use the mountain side to get us to stop. He had to put the van into the side of the mountain to get us to stop. Needless to say the van had a hard time. Thank goodness he got us stopped though. It was probably the scariest time of my life. It just made us all feel so lucky that it only ended in the van hurt, not any of us. Here are some pics of the day!

Here are some pics from this weekend. Dawson was so cute in his cow costume! Jaxon was so scary in his scream costume... too scary to get a pic of :) and me and Jared were vampires! Jared played at the Holiday Inn it was a fun night!

A Much Needed Update

So it has been awhile I know. But here is a quick update on our little family. First Dawson is so big. He is talking (well blabbing) so much it is so cute. He loves to laugh and has the cutest giggle! He is 25 1/2 inches long and about 17 pounds, perfectly huge! I am still working as a counselor for the elementary schools, coaching volleyball, and still going to school. I am so busy I can't think most days! Jaxon is doing great in school and likes it, he is also playing flag football and scores another touchdown on Thursday he was so excited! Jared is still working hard and volunteering on the fire dept. Mostly he just has to help me with all of my things that I am involved in, he is such a huge help. I know I would not be able to do the things I do without him.

Rockin blessing weekend!

This last weekend Jared sang in Helper Idol. He did great! It was by far the best ever. I can't believe that he didn't win. We are all still so proud of him!

Dawson's blessing day! We waited a long time to bless him because we wanted to make sure Jared could do it. We are all so proud of Jared and so grateful that he could bless our son. Dawson will always love that his dad could bless him!

Our Wonderful Boys!

So one of my best friends is an aspiring photographer and once again took some beautiful pictures of our boys! These were taken June 14th so they are a little outdated but they are still amazing! Dawson's First Fourth!

We decided to go to Scofield for the Fourth of July! Jared, Dawson and I met Andraya and Scotty up there. Andraya, Dawson and I enjoyed the fair while Jared and Scotty went fishing. At dark we sat on the beach and watched fireworks. It did begin to rain and we left early but it was still a fun day. Here is Dawson enjoying his stroller ride around the park!

The next day on the Fifth we did our own fireworks. Jared Dawson and I went to my parents and enjoyed a great show of illegal fireworks (bought on the indian reservation in Idaho). Andraya and Scotty also joined us along with Chantel, Tyler's girlfriend. It was a blast!

I have been such a slacker, I have had so many fun things going on but have not had a chance to update. Jaxon left for Tennessee on the 13th and that was not very fun. It is hard to see him go every summer but it is good he gets to see his mom and Nanny and Johnboy. He is finished with baseball and I will post some pics from that as soon as I find my camera. New Mobile Pics

Here are some more recent pics of Dawson. The top one was taken yesterday and get older as you scroll down. (I know backwards huh) These were all taken from our cell phones so they are not the best, I still need to post the good ones we have but I have not gotten that far. I hope you enjoy them anyways.

Here he is leaving the hospital. It was such a long stay we couldn't wait to take him home. Well we went to my parents house for extra help because I was still not feeling well, it was so nice to have the help.

A Much Needed Family Update!

I know I have been slacking on the blog updating thing resently. Hey I have a newborn give me a break! Well I am teaching summer school now so I have more time on a computer to keep everyone updated. Can you believe I get paid to do this? Anywho, here is a quick update...
Jared is still working with the fire department, playing mens softball, helping coach Jaxon's baseball team and being daddy of the year. He helps me out as much as he can with Dawson and still manages to cook almost every night, HOORAY FOR MY GREAT HUSBAND!
Jaxon is playing baseball and doing a great job. He has improved so much this year! He has made some great plays and is so much fun to watch. He is also playing so much with his friends and enjoying every second of it. He has some really great friends, we are so thankful for that.
I am teaching summer school at the high school for a few hours everyday. They talked me into it by saying I could bring Dawson with me. So he hangs with me and it is working out better than I thought it would, he is such a great baby.
Dawson is growing so fast. It is amazing how fast he changes. He is looking and showing more personality everyday. He has grown so much, he is still so small but has put on some healthy weight! (Gotta love Mommas milk). He is our little angel, he is sleeping and eating well and so far has been a pretty easy baby.
I am sure most of you have heard that the delivery was a little scary so I want to clear some things up. Dawson was born with the umbilical cord around his neck and had a few other problems. He was struggling breathing and urinating, which they said were all complications of having the cord around his neck. He was in NICU for the first 24 hours, Jared was the only one who could see him. I couldn't even see him and that was very very hard. After delivery I hemmoraged and was bleeding out quick. I lost 2 Liters of blood very fast and almost had to have a transfusion, but luckily they stopped my bleeding fast enough. I didn't realize how serious my condition was until the next day. I was so lucky I was at Timpanogos hospital and not in Price, they were fantastic and had a fantastic staff that basically saved my life. I was very weak and tired for a long time after. Trying to take care of a brand new baby while feeling that way was not fun. I was also afraid I was not going to be able to breastfeed because the doctors didn't think I would even produce milk because of the condition I was in. But God helped out quick and everything was normal after about a week. I am still super tired and weak but I am getting better quick. I just am so blessed for so many things it is amazing. THanks for your prayers and thoughts we love you all!

Wedding Weekend!

This last weekend was Brenda's wedding. We had a great time! We were so excited that all of the family could be there from both sides! They got married in the SLC temple and Jared took the boys (Jaxon, Kanyon, Eli, and Saul) to see the temple grounds and visitors center. They had a blast! I was in the hotel room with Ivy, and let me tell you, she is more of a handful than I ever thought! It is a good thing she is so cute! Here are some pics of the boys, Jared of course did a great job as usual catching the moment!

Oh by the way, no baby yet! Yes I am 3 days past due but I have an appointment tomorrow and we will see whats going on with this little guy! Wish us luck!
