Not So Good Idea!

He is so CUTE.....

...but super bored! Me and Jared had this great idea to put a huge box up where Rusty has been getting out of our yard, (the garbage can worked really well but we had to put it out on the street so it could be picked up) and this is what happened to the "great idea" we had. At least he made the box into smaller pieces so we could get it all in the garbage. But it did take us forever to clean up!

An Official Firefighter!

It is official! I am married to a FIREFIGHTER! Jared received his first of many certifications in the mail yesterday. We are so proud of him! It does make me nervous every time he gets called, but I just have to pray that he will be safe. And I am praying that the HUGE city of Wellington is not that dangerous!

My Firefighter Hubby!

As some of you know Jared has been on the Wellington Fire Dept. for the last year and a half. He joined with a push from me and my mom soon after we moved to Wellington. And boy did they need his help! He has enjoyed it so much and is currently going through both his Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 training. I am not sure what that is all about but I know that they are both great certifications to have and that he can go anywhere in the nation and still be a firefighter. It has been hard because he has been gone a lot more recently but I know that he is doing something that he enjoys and that is helping our community. He will be done in May and then he will be ready to take on anything! Here are some pics, enjoy!

This is a picture of the skills trailer. They have to go through a confined space maze with full gear on, SCARY! I know for a fact I would not have been able to do this! Thank goodness for the brave firefighters out there!

Happy Birthday Jaxon!

Happy 9th Birthday Jaxon!
Jaxon had a wonderful birthday! Jared managed the party all by himself! I had to coach volleyball and could not be there, but he did an amazing job controlling 5 crazy little boys! He was so excited about the presents he recieved especially the nerf guns and baseball stuff! We had the party at the Stop n' Eat in Wellington and we were way excited to have a party at a new place. They had hamburgers, ice cream, and cake. (Well I call it cake but I baked it so I am not sure if it qualifies). We can't believe how big Jaxon is getting and how old we are, (well Jared anyways) ;)
Jaxon also started little league this week and we will keep you posted about how that goes!
Jared is also still doing his firefighter training and we are so proud of our firfighter and will post some pics of that too.
We will also keep you posted about the little one, the official due date is May 2nd, yes Cinco de Mayo and also the day of Brenda and Bishop's wedding! Wish us luck! :) XOXOX

Yes! We got a DOG!

The Leonard family has finally added a canine to the group! His name is Rusty. We adopted him just last week. We was a rescued dog who was left in the desert. He was then going to go to the shelter but my husband caught word from the family that found him that he was a very sweet and well-mannered dog, so we had to check him out. We brought him home on a "trial" basis while Jaxon was at school. And what can I say? He was perfect! He is a blue/red heeler and very smart. He hardly ever barks, he listens so well even to his new name, he is house trained, he is very loving, doesn't bite, jump, dig, shed or even get up on the furniture. Now yes there are some undesirable traits too but they are small and can be worked on. He is flighty because he was abused but he is getting over that really quick. Jaxon loves him! They are good buds, but still need some work. We are just so glad that we could adopt this dog and he is a perfect addition to out little family. I hope that everything continues to work as well as they have, wish us luck!
